THE BEGINNING


In 1989, two Cambodian refugees, Ytieng and Hay, purchased a tiny little corner shop that would become home to SK’s Donuts & Croissants. SK’s started with very humble beginnings: a husband-and-wife duo operating a 24-hour donut shop, making the most out of the little that they knew. Contrary to today’s typical business model, this was not a passion project, but rather their key to survival in a new world. Never in their wildest dreams did they imagine that the small corner shop that barely supported their family would become what is is today.

After over 35 years, SK’s is now operated by Ytieng and Hay’s son, his wife, and their children. Today, SK’s is known for their consistent quality and their family-like customer service that makes people feel as though they’re being welcomed home when they walk though the doors. From a little corner shop to the local household staple that it is now, SK’s has stayed true to its roots in producing hand-rolled, hand-cut, and, most importantly, freshly baked donuts everyday.
